I admit it. It's on me for seeing the sings from chapter 1 and still reading. Now I'm just tuning in for the ride to see how he's gonna lie his way out of lieing to his best friend, not accepting him for the second gender he's born with and forcefully trying to turn him into someone who eventually may have to give birth and suffer through heats.
