don't be so mean, and in my opinion, that scene in the novel was important. the only reason hyoseop moved out of the way was bcz of the grandpa, the gate destroying the grandpa's house was also important to the story because the grandpa has some secrets. they completely rushed the whole thing and ruined the angst

iâm just saying that manhwas often keep only the core emotional or plot, so it will be easier to follow for the manhwa readers, so donât push your novel expectations. manhwa still showed what needed to be shown. do you know how many manhwas or even movie/series adaptations didnât follow the original pacing of their novels?

we don't mind the rushed emotional inner thought panels but they changed the way hyeseop disappeared on andante too and it was important for the grandpa plot that will come later again. it's so normal for novel readers to be disappointed. instead of calling random people idiots over having different opinions about a manhwa just go outside and connect with nature lil bro :)

Dude, get mad but tell you're buddies to clam down. If it isn't obvious the author has no intentions to make this long like the novel so yes they have to choose important stuff to get rid off. If you do want something that follows the novel and take a up too 100chapters to kiss read a Chinese one, they burn me.

i read 200+ chapter manga and manhwas too trust i know and i actually expected this one would get hella rushed too but like i said people having different opinions are fine so why is everyone getting mad over novel readers' comments that i really don't understand. they are not even being rude just expressing their disappointment

ah yes, the âcommon nature ass therapy arc.â ah fuck, got another one? my bad for calling them idiot, just donât expect people to have morals when expressing their frustration on an illegal websiteâs public comment section.
and mind you, itâs not just âdifferent opinionsâ when people expect an adaptation to follow the novel exactly and get mad when it doesnât. itâs normal to be disappointed, but adaptations will never be 1:1. that expectation is just so ass..

i didn't expect the manhwa to follow the novel EXACTLY. but that scene in particular was very important because not only does it showcase the depth of the trauma hyoseop went through in his backstory, the scene with the grandpa and the house is also very important for the future storyline. when they skipped that scene, it also made the manhwa looked rushed, which is something i saw none novel readers mention. when writing a story, it's always good to make sure the pacing is right.

alright, maâam, i apologize for calling you an idiot.
i understand your point, and itâs undeniably true that certain scenes carry significant meaning within the narrative, and omitting them can affect pacing of the story. however, while itâs completely reasonable to feel disappointed in this, itâs also important to recognize that adaptations inherently require adjustments to fit, even if it means losing such scenes from the novel. you are assured that this does not diminish the value of those scenes in the original, but it is a reality of how adaptations work across different formats.
readers were given options where to read, so do not put your disappointment here.

thank you for apologizing. i did not mean to sound rude in my comment, but i was just expressing my disappointment to fellow novel readers who read the manhwa. i am not mad about it, i am just disappointed since that scene was one of my favorites in the novel since it showed andante's genuine feelings for the mc so i was upset that it got rushed because they could have rushed several other scenes since the chasing arc was a bunch of fillers but they chose to rush this very important scene in particular
HUHH??? as someone who read the novel, i am very confusedthey changed the whole thing up... what happened to the old man??? burning flesh?? hello?
