Usually it's because the manhwas are genuinely written poorly with one dimensional characters. On top of media literacy being shit and a lot of young people glorifying these types of relationships.

Well, people should create the stories they want in the world instead of acting entitled about someone else work. Why do you expect a smut manga about demons to be well written? Consider this is well written for some people as far as smut mangas go and that most don’t have high expectation on a goner smut site, lets be fucking for real. If you want well written, read a novel not a smut manga. Why are you even bringing up media literacy on a smut manga site? It never was and will never be that deep except for people like you who use phrases like “Glorifying these types of relationship relationships” on a manga based on fictional sex demons”. This isn’t anywhere near reality, so don’t worry no one’s going to date a sex demon in real life lmao. Your energy is better, wasted, complaining under mangas that have actual serial killings pov since that can happen in real life.

People knowingly go to mangas they will disagree with just strictly to complain and it’s hypocritical and contradictory and they keep coming back to flood the site with negative comments like they are negative clout chasing. Lmao you’re talking about media literacy but you can’t grasp that everything like Hana losing agency is what the author wants for the character. You’re bitching that demons are bad with bad attitudes and Hana who entered contracts with demons is losing agency as if that’s not the whole point. Are demons from hell supposed to be good or evil? Answer that, is a human character that engages with demons not expected to lose their agency or soul when you enter into contracts with one?

Y’all are bitching that that the demons don’t have redeeming qualities. As the reader you are supposed to be deceived by the demons personas and they are supposed to be demons with their evil nature in the end. As I said lol, y’all just want them to be more palatable for human ideas of morality but that’s not what the author wanted y’all just can’t accept the universe this book is made in is actually how it’s supposed to be. It’s not a mistake that the big bad demons are evil or mean or have attitudes and that the human can’t resist the demonic power. Y’all are so used to their being a light at the end of the tunnel you forget the tunnel is dictated by the author.

Here’s something to consider within the story that I haven’t seen anyone bring up that actually respects and accepts the world authors created not rallying against it(media literacy) lol: Luxuria is not a good demon. He didn’t tell Hana she would lose all her friends and family being with him. He doesn’t love her, he wants to possess her (have her all to himself). He wraps it in a pretty bow but he hides his inner demons far better than Caligo does. Caligo is deceptive but he is far more honest about his demonic nature than Luxuria is. Caligo is more yandere presenting but all of these demons including pass want to possess her. They are drawn beautifully on purpose because a sex demon should be appealing to the human eyes. As we learn more you see more of their evil natures reveal themselves. Even sweet looking pass couldn’t help fucking Hana when she was desperate for help when no one remembered her because their nature is to feed on the lust of humans. The author wants the readers to understand they are all still demons willing to use their power and whatever means to have Hana lusting for them hence the marking on her lower belly, the aphrodisiac smell they release. All of it is the point, it’s meant to be corrupted in all ways. This isn’t like other stories where the demon is some soft gentle giant, deception, corruption, coercion, and etc all are demonic evil tools a demon is expected to use.

Hana literally asked Caligo to take her memories knowing all the ways he’s manipulated her in the pass. It’s showing Hana slipping further into a demon world no human should have entered. She lost agency the moment she went into a contract with a demon if you want to be real.

Don't bother girl haha,they are so comfortable reading stuff like this, so when someone give a slightly negative review, they feel uncomfortable and end up lashing out on that person just to make themselves feel better LOL ,these people deserve no peace istg!!
