just came back from euja's tweets. Honestly, i get her frustration and anger and it should be like, basic decency to NOT talk about or mention illegal reading sites publicly. But imho her wording was NOT it. She could've said the exact same thing in a much nicer way and people would still understand her. I think the whole situation got out of hand cuz saying "please disappear from earth" is, well, certainly a choice and it really doesn't put her in a positive light. Both sides have room to be a bit nicer and understanding
Its a bit saddening to see popular yaoi authors call illegal readers roaches (iykyk), rotten, or say that they deserve to die despite writing themes or poverty in their story meanwhile yuri authors are so desperate for their work to be recognised that they turn to illegal readers to ask for help. Just shows a lot about how popularity gets to you and how big the gap is in yuri and yaoi popularity.
