Honestly it was really dragged out and me personally I was tired of reading 70 chapters worth of chasing and no communication so I’m glad they’re shortening it, like I LOVE a good chasing arc and slow burn but so much happens that could’ve been stopped if they just communicated
spoilers: imma start at where the chapter kind of pissed me off

when andante found jin hyoseop at the old man's house and talked (more like yelled at each other but it's just andante being really scary), then reached out to jin, ano's memento activated.
it was specifically said in the novel that it activated because jin saw andante as his former esper or more like his deceased abuser esper and that the user (which is jin hyoseop) felt 'threatened' by andante.
anyways, andante tried to calm down and such but jin was really scared and then the gate appeared, andante told jin not to move and had actually gotten a chance to touch jin and got injured by the shield/protective barrier, then was able to get jin away from the gate, andante shielding him from it.
jin didn't get swallowed quickly by the gate but there were some hands sticking out and tried to grab jin but andante quickly got rid of it.
and then there was a scene where they made a deal for andante to deal with the gate in exchange for a chat with jin.
andante went inside the gate and tried to finish it quickly but after finishing it and got out of the gate, jin was nowhere to be seen and the old man was holding ano's memento and told andante that he saw jin entering the gate.
panicked, andante went in again only to find jin's bag near the entrance.
turns out, when andante went in to the gate, jin used the teleportation scroll which had opened a gate to baños and the old man mistook it as a dungeon gate.
anyways, it's much better to read the novel than this manhwa.

i just finished the novel just a couple of days ago and they skipped and changed parts from this manhwa.
cause at this point jin hyoseop's reason why he ran away from andante feels too shallow for me, the novel actually describes why.
even ano's memento; like it activated for a reason, now it just looked like it activated because hyoseop is scared by andante but it's actually much deeper than that.
i think i might have to drop the manhwa if it's gonna continue this way.
