I know that. But the bottom doesn't. I was seeing this through his lens.
He clearly has bad experiences and it makes sense on a survival level.
Because cheaters lie. And then you get into a nasty fight.
And as Andante would likely try to overpower and capture the guide, it was probably the best for his survival and mental health that he ran away.
