I don't think you fully understand the meaning of poor. when people say they're poor they usually mean they struggle to get by every month or they live in a shitty home because they don't have the funds to move they live off disability they live off government funding ect underage people can be poor a majority of Americans for example are considered poor and live off government food stamps disability and other things which mind you you cannot legally work while on disability or getting government food stamps, in Europe it's also a big problem and it's a big big problem in Asian countries when the government doesn't give them enough to even get food every few weeks

And how do you know for sure if the author's life is all sunshine and rainbows? Could it be possible that the author is also struggling to get by and hence their strong reaction upon seeing their work being pirated so openly? Pretty sure not that many authors are wealthy. Instead of understanding their frustration from having their income affected, people are celebrating the author's crash out and openly bashing the author despite reading illegally. Since when is being a illegal reader something to be proud of?

I'm an author myself, my work is put here it's pirated and put here I'm not the happiest about it but I understand it I do it for certain works as well stuff that I cannot personally afford or get to but I have a second job which is something that you're publishing company even will tell you to get an actual real life job usually an online one because no matter how many people read your work even if you have 2 million monthly readers most of the money that come from it goes to the publishing website and your publisher and then a small scrap goes to you it is not our fault if she can't afford things because she's told to get a real job it's not sustainable rely on something like a story for your income only about 10 to 15% of the income that they get goes to her that's not sustainable if she's not getting another job that's on her it gives her zero right to send death threats to people who made her work popular

and to add, I am disabled I am chronically ill and I have trouble leaving my house and yet I still rely on my actual job not my art which if I want I can take commissions I can do multiple works at a time you take your workload and you get a real job along with it otherwise you can't survive like that how much money do you think that she gets a month even if all of the illegal readers read legally? she wouldn't even be able to afford an apartment rent I don't think you understand that

right like?? you are told upfront even by a greedy publishing agency that you need a real job otherwise you can't afford an apartment you can't afford groceries and that's just how life is if you want to publish through shojen jump that would literally give you the most amount of money monthly and that's not even enough for a really good apartment you can get by with it because that's such a popular company but it's not very sustainable and that's just how life is unless you're a very big author

Her response is unprofessional but her frustration as an author is understandable. Her response aside, piracy is still illegal no matter how you want to twist it. Don't act as if y'all weren't reading this illegally anyway before this incident, and now y'all are just clinging on to this to justify piracy.
Euja is obviously going through a crash out. Are you gonna hug the thief that stole your phone with loving arms and say kind words or are you gonna scold the heck out of that thief in a fit of anger?
And the illegal readers don't exactly have sweet words to say either, they're fanning the flames while playing victim.
Again, euja's response was unprofessional and y'all can stop supporting her, but don't act like she had no right to be mad.

You work in l*zh*n and know their pay and contract? You're fine with having your work pirated and you expect other people to be fine with it as well? If the author needs to get multiple jobs in order to sustain her life (and her own fault if she doesn't get another job to survive), by that logic why cant readers just get multiple jobs in order to pay legally for the mahwas they want to read?
So the author is suppose to work multiple jobs to not get kicked out from the apartment, support piracy and illegal riders, and if the author doesn't support that they're classist? Lol
And do you think is realistic for the author to work multiple jobs but still release chapters on schedule? Oh, and reader are gonna complain if there are delay or hiatus! But yeah sure blame the author, us illegal readers are somehow the poor pitiful victims.
And y'all really throwing around the word "poverty" so casually. I'm quoting the word "poverty" coz there are people out there who call themselves "poor" just coz they can't afford iphone. How many of you here bashing the author are in actual poverty and dying coz you need yaoi to stay live?? Or are you "poor" coz you're actually underage and unemployed but reading 18+?
