What happened in the novel?
This might be a spoiler so I'll give a fair warning before hand :
In the novel he thinks for a second about whether he should enter the dungeon or not. And decides against it cuz he knows he won't be able to survive in there as a normal human+ adante would prolly follow him inside immediately. And right when he does that a hand reaches out to grab him but Adante swiftly protects him and also puts himself between him and the dungeon. And then the hand starts trying to grab other stuff nearby and it's ends up going to towards the old man, our lad hyoseop goes up to him and protects him at which point the hand starts destroying the old man's house leaving the old man devastated. Looking at how sad the old man is hyoseop makes a deal with adante that if adante finishes of the dungeons and restores the old man's house, hyoseop would stay behind and talk with him. After which adante enter the dungeon and finishes it off and come back to see hyoseop is gone
Looks like he gets pulled in this time unlike what happened in the novel
