After a several year hiatus, I've finally reread from the beginning and I'm around chapter 207, and I'm worried because I really can't see how the plot will progress. The main conflicts here seem to be 1) sovishu's memory loss and 2) Heinry's shadiness. ATP I've stopped taking any moments of Heinry's shadiness seriously because every time it's resolved fine. My big fear is that Sovieshu's gonna have a whole redemptoin amnesia arc and they end up back together BUT I REALLY REALLY REALLY DON'T SEE THIS HAPPENING. There were so many opportunities to take the shitty male lead comeback redemption story route, but they didn't take it, so it would be really stupid to just undercut the strength of the manhwa with an ending like that. But then I can't think of any other way that Sovieshu's problem is going to remain relevant to the plot because frankly idc about Sovieshu. Like yeah, he's in a shit situation but yall also made me read 150 chapters on why he deserved it so I'm not gonna be shedding tears for this guy. I think because I think the story flow despite the length of the manhwa is one of its strenghts and I'd be really said if that all ended up going towards a bad ending that was just trying to milk the series. I'm also afraid because the only way I can see Heinley's character developing is negatively or else he would just be a really boring too perfect characters bc he's already started shedding his crazier inner dialogues. If Heinley's character doesn't change, then the manhwa's gonna get stale because we're gonna get the same rotation of golden retriever and then slightly angrier golden retriever. Same with Navier. Her main conflict was whether or not she could trust the feelings she felt for Heinry and vice versa, but she's gotten over it for the most part. Anyways, thanks for reading my ted talk.
