It was how Eleceed started no? Eleceed started with the exact same art. This is how 2d anime looks like yk, all those CGI has spoilt everyone
Hearing your claim, I just went through chapters 1 to 14 again. (Chapter 14 is where Kayden first appeared in his human form.) After reviewing the artwork, I remain convinced that the anime’s art is trash. Unlike the original Eleceed artwork, the anime’s art has our mc looking like a middle school girl. Kayden’s art is also inaccurate. They look different from how they appeared at any point in the series. Thus I hate it.
The new anime art looks juvenile at best. Did they all regress in age? It also looks cartoony. I hate it.
