To be fair, he never cared about those people anyway. The moment their soul would become tainted he'd kill them without hesitation. Though I guess he does care a bit about how the gods toy with humans like they're nothing.
I dont think that's accurate to say. He clearly cared enough to seperate these people from the others when he (Raoul) was spreading his wrath on the world. I dont think Raoul would be so heartless/careless about innocent human life purely bc the ones he hates (those "gods" and evil humans/demons) do that and he would want to be nothing like them ( in that regard I think at least).
I was really hoping Raul would've set up some protections for the floating island :(((((. Its so sad they all died. On the bright side maybe the pronce will finally get some character development!
