It's never happened to me, but from what you're saying it's probably because the translation group posts chapters on facebook and linked those as the chapters (which is quite strange though), so it asks you to login to facebook in order to gain access. I would try to google the name of the novel + "novel" or "chapters" and see if any other site with the chapters pops up
Or try to look for that novel's forum/spoiler page (on novelupdates forum), people usually post the link if there is a translation
It's bcs it's a content hosting site/forums. They direct you to the site where content is held/kept/uploaded. The novel you are looking for is probably uploaded on fb page by the translator/uploder hence it's asking u to login.
As the user above said try searching novel name+ novel on on your browser

I tried and found around 2 website with the novel but honestly......the translation is sooo shit TT I don't even understand what's going on. Even my own brain gave up trying the correct the grammerಥ‿ಥ
I'm so used to MTLing the original raw chapters that my brain is now too fried to care about shitty translations LMAO
Anyway, if you really want to read it at this point you should just create a facebook account without using it. It's usually very useful to have to quickly register into other sites as well
So I registered and login into Novel-updaptes so that I could read but I can't......
Like I tap on the chapter but it leads me to a different page which is "facebook login" page. I tried this for the other novels but it takes me to the chapter but the one I need to read keeps taking me to a "facebook login" page.
(And i don't even have not use facebook) What's wrong??
