Anyone else feeling the same way?

Why are so many people acting like they’re having a heart attack just because the site is down? I’m genuinely concerned. I get it, this site is amazing but the amount of people who feel like they can’t live without it is honestly a bit terrifying. I really love it too, and I spend hours reading on here (probably way too much). So when it went down, I was surprisingly okay… though I did feel a real sense of loss because of the lists I’ve made. If Mangago really disappears, I don’t think I’d start over on another site. That’s how much it means to me But I’m also trying to manage my attachment to it.

For me for example the worst part is that I don't have a list of my fav mangas anywhere and it's just comfy to is this site. I don't spend too much time on this stir but the list... And the people I got to meet there.. yk

if someone's been using a specific website on the daily for years i think it's pretty easy to see why they'd feel panicky about this situation

It's just an expression. A lot of ppl have used the site for so long and have grown attached to it. Nd tbf, it is a good site. It doesn't have ads, and the community is pretty healthy.

I’ve been here since 2016 so I’m quite attached but it’s also the loss of a community

I feel the same way, but to lose my listing saddens me because the amount of reading and list of things I plan to read will disappear. That’s what scares me. ╥﹏╥
