Now the interesting part is NOT the horniness. Its the violence. That part is not inherently but culturally based. In cultures where the expectation is "get drunk= fight" alcohol greatly increases levels of physical assault, particularly between men. Conversely in cultures where "get drunk= get sloppy emotional with your friends/ bonding" getting drunk only marginally increases assaults, from which we can form the hypothesis that while testosterone does inherently increase sex drive, it does NOT inherently increase one's predisposition to violence. (The variable is the intoxicating effect of the alcohol) i.e. males are not inherently violent, they are socialized to be so and physiology is used as an excuse.

Dude that was deep. It’s crazy how I thought of capitalism while reading your explanation. I mean, it’s obvious but ppl pretend not to notice. We are brainwashed to do so many things because of other people’s profit. (((They))) always push a lot of misinformation all the time and nobody actually talks about it. Anyways, thanks for the info bro!

You're welcome! We actually talk a LOT about capitalism in Gender Studies (the subspecialty of my Anthro degree). I approach a lot of analysis from a Marxist Feminist epistemological lens (the economic ruling class oppresses the underclass the same way the ruling sociopolitical hegemonic class oppresses the sociopolitical underclass: to simplify it incredibly) so if you're ever interested in how culture and behavior intersect with biology (my other degree) there are some excellent resources out there!
Wait so people don’t usually get horny after drinking? I thought that happened to everyone too
