Try reading chapters 44-45 for Kunimasa's reasoning. He's the clan leader (Also at the top of Madararui in the country who control life & death of people?) and don't want to burden Norio since he's just been born as Madararui, doesn't have leadership/ supportive qualities as soon to be partner of the clan head, let alone discernment of things as part of being a Madararui. Unlike Joshua McBear, he decides to let Norio go for the sake Norio's freedom over burden.
He also made 2 promises to Madarame clan: to be the next head instead of Yunekuni, for him not to be burdened since he's sickly and another is to marry the returner to ancestry Norio for it's superior genes & easily to breed (to multiply since he's a light seed).
There will be twist somewhere (not sure where), I just saw 1 page glimpse of both of them in Norio's house (not sure what they're talking about but Kunimasa seems trying to appease Norio or trying to get back together).

Is there someone here can explain to me whats wrong about kunimasa & norio? It has been long. In earlier chp, it seems they became a couple but why in chp 59 or something they seems wanna break up again??? Like didnt kunimasa loves him? Or no? Dang it, if my bf hang our relationship and not sure about it. Not even take effort for u. I will leave for sure. I dont want to see norio crying anymore T_T. I hope its only my missunderstanding.
