Yea well I feel like he really didn't notice and even if he did he just ignored it, cause `mr Alpha` is he's literally care giver. He saw him as a family, and for me it looks like dude shat his pants when he realised beta has feelings for him. The whole relationship is a mess but at least alpha has decency to come to terms with it and find a way to figure things, and work it out. And yes it feels super forced tbh
Mr alpha is fumbling. He’s got trauma from his past and he’s scared that he’s going to lose his most “important “ person. He’s always been aware that the beta likes him I think he’s just always bro zoned it. I think he noticed the beta as a man a lot sooner than he’s letting on and that’s why he avoided him so much during his ruts because he knew something would come off it. A little like when you’re drunk around your crush, you say dumb shi. So rn he’s not being very clear because he’s panicking. He thinks that by giving the beta what he wants he’ll stick around and I do think he’s doing it from a place of mutual feelings like he does love him but he’s gaslit himself for so long he’s struggling with that concept. But not only is he suddenly doing this he’s also changing his role in every aspect, he’s going from carer to boyfriend, from top to bottom. From the one in charge to the one completely vulnerable now.
