Well she still fell in love in the novel, just sooner lol. She already knew she loved Kylo, she just didn’t want to confess because she planned to sacrifice herself and didn’t want Kylo to be sad. But after she got back, she went full on showering Kylo with affection openly
Anyways as a novel reader as well, trueee. The novel was straight to the point and I guess the author wanted to add way more filler and drama to make the story longer and more cliche

If anything most of the novel was just their moments. What we’re talking about is the fact that the author added in wash more unnecessary cockblock drama. The author added MORE ISSUES. They added more scenes for the blonde dude to be annoying and they also added more lady Devon scenes+ made lady Devon be a man instead of originally a woman for another random love rival to fawn over the FL and get in the way.

And if you didn’t notice, me and the OG commenter have read the novel. We both know the info of what will happen. The novel had tons of sweet moments between Agnes and kylo. The novel literally had Agnes only focus on kylo, so they were in their own little world all the time. Agnes also knew she had feelings of love for him in the novel, sooner than the manhwa. She was proactive in her affection for him. The manhwa added changes so there’s more issues holding them back from being together.
Disliking unnecessary drama, misunderstandings and beating around the bush doesn’t make people boring, and liking those things isn’t liking romance, it’s liking miscommunication tropes. That’s what you like here. If anything I think wanting characters to be more straightforward with their feelings and see their actual romantic relationship consists of a lot more romance than what this is. Fan feelings, yeah I can agree with that, but this could be also done in a more straightforward manner instead of dragging it on. Did FL even once actually directly addressed that? Because from my understanding she didn’t seem to think “do I have romantic feelings for him or do I like him as a fan?”, but was ready to be with him from get-go and simply ready to give up if he did not feel that way about her too. However, I did not see her seriously thinking about what kind of love she has towards him. So that point of yours also kinda falls flat here
If you want genuine exploration of “fan love” VS “real love” dilemma then “For My Abandoned Love” explores this topic well. Not this manhwa, this barely has that even with all the filler

In the novel after the ball she just leaves a letter and goes off to end the riffs alone there is no confession and not all this dragging she just goes to end the novel to sabe kylo and dies... after she dies everyone gets sad the stupid blond gets depressive and tries to end his own life realy an idiot to the end, kylo also gets realy sad but then decides to go to where she sacrificed herself to end the riffs its a realy sad chapter he also thinks to end his own life but then he can somehow bring her back to life and after that its just the two being lovely and getting maried, they changed the novel here and now its just getting boring to read... sorry for any mistakes
