As someone who values side characters, I'm disappointed with how the author seems to think of them as nothing. Like, what happen to Lu Feng's successor? He wasn't mentioned at all, and most likely died off screen, I don't even know when he died, was it when the bees attacked, or the invasion? and then there's Tang Lang and Hubbard, we didn't know What happened to them afterwards they fell off the cliff. Tho the story briefly says that they might be alive cus they couldn't find their corpse, im not entirely convinced. This was a good story, but I read a novel before this which smoothly tied loose ends that even a side character from the very beginning had a screen time before the end, I'm just sad and disappointed.
well, during the apocalypse you have no time to dwell on ppl who are no longer here, you only have time to live on and survive. in that sense, never really mentioning them again is realistic
That’s why I dont attach any character other than the main when it comes to apocalypse. Because they are bound to disappear. But despite that I’m still not over to that one particular character at the end who will die soon.
I understand you . The Author put amazing side characters and let us attached to them and loved them then poom they disappeared because the died or dead
