i feel as though it’s going to be a really close call, a fight that’s going to go really rough at first but at the end he manages. but i also think the fight will end with him having to rest for a bit, even possibly hospitalized.

I think best case story-wise is if he just survives but still loses, frankly, he wins too much. If he wins this too, it's just, crazy plot armor. He should lose more. Let Jiwoo lose.
I'm not even a MHA fan, but a deku style "can no longer fight with his arms but adapts" moment, might be good for him. not this specifically, but he has yet to experience a TRUE loss.
I like that if it happen in his previous fights but losing here means dying. I don't think the other guy will let Jiwoo live. But I hope he's atleast breathing so Kartein can help him.
