What if short staffed was referring to the HL program, and lil A was scouted to be transformed into a hybrid.
Remember that pink liquid G had, if it's just poison then why the color?? maybe, it is something to force animal transformation, and maybe, Mr disappear bc he was transformed into an hybrid (his own decision? An accident?)
Mr A was (prov) already out the farm when he told lil A to come so now i wonder if it was another person that sent the letter? But who could had sent it and for what???

It couldn't have been M, and G and NPC seem to surprised to have been their plan. Maybe it was K? He knew that Mr A had a nephew... Honestly it could be pig guy
