He was sent to the outskirts to defeat monsters and stuff but ran away into the woods and no one ever found him, in my opinion he’s probably dead.
He goes through the same ~magic barrier thingy~ that is presented to og Edith; so he's probably in there with the author as she gets beaten to a pulp by the other Ediths
