Watching them play had become Chungrim’s joy. Mero seemed to like Sung-kyung, and Sung-kyung adored the cat. Within his shadow, they were at peace. Through this scene, Chungrim found a quiet comfort, something his brothers had tried to fill with money but never truly provided.
