unfortunately, the best friend and/or childhood friend commonly don't win when there are multiple partners so story-wise it won't be kaede (and not the girl either since she's in the childhood friend role).
and mc also mostly ignored the fact that kaede liked him throughout the story even though he had multiple confirmations so.....

wtf bru, it felt like the pres' brother looked better with mc visual-wise. But story-wise, it MAKES SO MUCH SENSE to go for kaede???? Like cmon man, hes been with mc for the whole time bro. I really really thought he'd just turn all those ppl down and THAT would've been much more satisfying than picking the other brocon. They did not interact that much compared to his interaction with kaede. Most of the time they're talking it was just abt brothers and liking men. Compared to kaede where he talked various things with him. Even if they did texted each other, the way things were framed into our perspective, Kaede and mc are much more closer than the pres' bro. What the fuck man. I actually teared up at the rejection scene cuz fuck you mc for not cherishing my boy kaede enough
