I personally think it’s because he’s easily loveable and that’s a reoccurring theme with other characters who interact with him
I think Rio just happens to be a normal orphan boy who Camilla just sisterly attracted to him because he was more like her past self, like, he was the closest one that reminded her of her past life before she got reincarnated as Camilla.
As for Ravi's father, Ravi's father (Ravi being Camilla oldest brother), his father was the tower master magician who died during a failed experiment spell.
My question is; why is the Emperor going through all this trouble of kidnapping orphan kids and having their souls replace with other people's souls?. Like, what's his end game by going through all of that?.
