no...the ML caused all this to happen. If he wasnt neglectful to the the empress or atleast let the empress go with a little bit of communication (cause the empress was willing to silently leave the palace) none of this would have happened. If he wasn't abusive to the idiot of a MC none of this would have happened. It's all the ML's fault

The empress being neglected by the ML doesnt excuse them trying to rape the MC. But yeah, the main villain is the ML
