The difference is that Belezack received his terrible parents full attention while his sister was neglected and likely raised by a nanny that’s why she wasn’t influenced by her terrible parents
That means at least their nanny is not bad, I'm glad at least one of their children has escaped the greedy nature of their parents.

'Coz unlike their idiot older brother, it seems Belezack's bad behaviour is mainly due to parental pressure rather than solely a personality flaw
Also, yeah, the lack of attention & underestimation of their sister worked in her favor in the end
I mean, Belezack must actually be stressed too, but can't do anything. Maybe if the greed and avarice of their parents only consumed themselves and they children's were cared for by their nanny, Belezack would not have lost his way.
