I’ve heard that expression from a long time ago. I think it was from a book or a novel, can you explain to me where you saw this cause when I tried to Google it, I’m not getting much results. Is this an expression that’s popular somewhere? Or is this from a novel or a classic book like Shakespeare or something?
Oh it's just saltwater makes wounds hurt more. Basically make them wound more painful by beating them up with something soaked in salt water. This is truly barbaric tho don't try at home !
