Is cheating less taboo in Korean culture or something? I just can't imagine anyone being so casual about a cheater. Like they're both so cool with the people who cheated on them that they want to talk to them and find out their circumstances.

That's not something that alcohol does to someone, that's your own thoughts. You were clearly not passed out or unwilling.
