Is it me or every manhwa characters these day have huge debts

I'm gonna make a joke abt that and current economy but I'm too dumb lol but yes everyone's in debt

More people are in debt than you think, even in real life. Not far fetched for these characters to be in debt, whether from dumb personal financial decisions or debt falling on them from family's dumb personal financial decisions. The unrealistic part is a rich person swooping in to turn the characters into sex slaves and then they fall in love in the end.
