It's hard to telll, maybe her sister is a little autistic and doesn't realize how humiliating her actions can come over. The castle being destroyed by an avalanche after Aurora made it a giant lightbulp luring Karina back is also a crazy coincidence. We still don't know who killed the assassins as well, chances are high it's Aurora unless I missed something.
So far it's solely the parents fault Karina feels inferior to Aurora. They 100% played favorites. I agree that Aurora is probably looking out for her sister, unless the avalanche was somehow intentional.

Or what's more likely is that thr avalanche was symbolic, showing how she buried her sister in her mind lmao

I don't think the avalanche was aurora's doing. Because again, it really just desredars what she did previously. If she wanted karina fully GONE she could have let the prince get rid just like he wanted but she stopped him. It makes no sense to go through all that trouble and waste that many supplies just to cause an avalanche afterwards. If anything notice how the avalanche only happens when karina says she no longer considers the castle her home and that she doesn't care what happens to it? Remember the story karina was reading that seamed to almost be talking about her? in the story it said that the princess was blessed by the "Spirits of Nature" Even the maid mentioned that right after Karina left several tremors could be felt around the area. Whatever is happening around is connected to Karina 100%. And about the asassin, Karina was only shot by an arrow and right after that happens a blizzard breaks (again nature acting up) so it would be safe to assume that this could have stopped the asassins and if not right after that is when reshutoka shows up. She could have gotten rid of them.
People are debating whether Aurora is secretly evil or plotting against Karina, but I don’t think she is. I believe she truly loves her sister, though she may be conflicted or confused about her feelings.
~ There are several clues:
1) Unlike many misunderstood villainess characters, Karina did act like one, so the accusations against her weren’t exactly "baseless".
2) In Karina’s flashback with the plushy dog, it’s their parents who push her to give it to Aurora. Aurora hesitates to take it and looks confused, but you can tell she is clearly grateful.
3)When the prince wants to send an army after Karina (which seems excessive since she was already banished), Aurora stops him with some flimsy “strategy” excuse. If she truly hated Karina, she could’ve let him do it.
4) Sending supplies to Karina’s castle shows Aurora may not fully understand her sister’s motives, but still wants her to be comfortable.
5) The plushy dog seems especially meaningful if Aurora does in fact love Karina, it makes sense why she’d send her something sentimental from their childhood to confort her when she's alone and away from home.
