You’re right about the fact that there’s no justification for the twink’s behavior, however the truth can still be manipulated.
How? I don’t know but I never underestimate the mindset of a manipulator (even though I’m not sure if the mc’s one)
I agree that Truth can be distorted and diluted according to one’s convenience but I see there’s no manipulation tactics executed there. He didn’t use the truth to his convenience but to knock some sense into Nanjo’s head since he is way too innocent and oblivious to see the real person in twink. Mok resolved to stop courting a one sided relationship but he still cares for Nanjo hence, his words are justified in that sense.

I think the mc would try to convince (Manipulate) Nanjo into seeing the twink’s (forgot his name) real face, but things crash out because Nanjo obviously didn’t believe shit and at the end of the day, the mc finally decides to ignore Nanjo.
Anyways weeks if not months later, Nanjo founds the twink cheating on him, crashed out, broke up with him and…… yeah I can’t delude myself anymore because it’s still toxic as fuck .
I don’t know why, but I just get the feeling that someone’s gonna end up in a basement
