So basically in the next chapter or 2, while at the night market, Tae spots his brother so he chases after him and is caught by whoever has his brother.
At some point Tae steals a cellphone from one of the guards and calls Ilay, who asks him if he wants to get out of there, it that it’ll be hard to get him out. Anyway, during this call Tae wanted to ask Ilaynof he liked him, but instead he’s the one that confesses and by the time he reacts and asks the question, the guards have caught up to him and take the phone before he can hear the answer.
Later there’s a breach and he’s rescued….seemingly by Xinlu. As they’re getting out, he sees Ilay coming toward them with a huge smile on his face, but Xinlu had his men knock out Jae and technically kidnaps him to force Tae to go with him.
After they have a heart to heart, Tae tells him that he’s going back to Ilay and in the morning that’s what he tries to do, but gets intercepted by Ilay himself. He’s pissed and doesn’t let Tae explain until much later.
So yes, it gets very uncomfortable, probably more uncomfortable than their first time. Eventually he tells him he was trying to get back to him. Ilay then tells him to please not try to run away from him again.
Technically they’re labeled as terrorists at this point, and Tae worries about what to do with their lives, and he promises to take care of Ilay because he feels he’s lost a lot due to trying to get him out of where he was trapped.
In the end in a call with Kyle, he offers his house to them but Ilay doesn’t really like dealing with Rita’s nagging and doesn’t really want to go there, but Tae immediately jumped at the opportunity and tells Ilay he could visit him while he’s there. They head to the airport and at this point, Ilay hasn’t said where he’s going, but once there Tae finds out he’s going with him to Germany.

I’m looking forward to one of my favorite scenes from this first series to be adapted and it should happen soon-ish, but I also know what happens after and I know people are going to be PISSED.
