Don't worry, this isn't a slowburn romance--the novel's only 51 chapters long, I finished it in about an hour. For reference, we're currently at chapter 8-9, and he starts actively treating her well in chapter 15-16. The servants and mother-in-law don't really warm up to her until chapter 27. (And the rest of the novel is tidying up the wife's family.)
I don't know man. I know he'll eventually come to be more kind towards her, so as the others. But still uncomfortable idk how to explain it. Haha maybe because I feel like she's too used to being mistreated? I feel bad for her getting accustomed to such conditions
