She could learn from some of the other creators out there who take an advantage of illegal reading. Instead of crashing out on social media, they promoted merchandise like key chain, photocard, and mini poster signatured by them. They made the readers love them and their work by not making enemies. Their works already loved and become popular because of illegal reading, so they focus in different area to make more money.

It’s similar to that one BL manhwa where the author was so aggressive about cracking down on piracy that illegal sites had to remove it. Because of that, the manhwa lost a lot of visibility, and barely anyone was buying it legally anymore.

I’m not trying to justify piracy, but as someone who can’t afford to spend money recklessly, I’d rather preview a manhwa first. If I end up liking it, I’ll go back and purchase the same chapters on official platforms to support the creator.

Idk about Painter Of The Night, that manhwa is still exist in this site or at her piracy sites.

The manhwa removed from this site after the author crash out is Blind Play. The manhwa isn't that novel for story wise, nothing new about it. After it was removed, I don't see any hype around that manhwa anymore. Seems the officials sell just worsen. The author could have make her readers to buy some merchandise and make money without depending on officials sell. Let the manhwa known, then curry favor from readers to make money from others means.

c the blindplay arc (lol) was the worse… the artists literally posted some illegal readers photo online can they not understand that illegal readers wont just stop illegal reading if they say “stop reading my series or just die” ??? we aint privileged enough to casually spend our little money to some chapters

they should learn better from those artists who took advantage from this situation, being kind with their words as well. they actually understand that not all of us r made out of gold. those r the ones that deserves a purchase lol. lets support them
