Realistically. It isn’t all that simple. It’s not black and white and have the author depict the anxiety, fear and overthinking that a person goes through when they come out is realistic. It’s not a one and done thing and having to go something that could potentially get you ostracized and harassed just because of what you are will make you act in ways you get can’t predict.

I have read multiple manhwas where this was portrayed in a better way.
I never told that he has to come out but the way this was done was bad. It didn't show nuance but just made MC look like a jerk.
If he did this to protect himself cause he doesn't want to come out then ok.
But he didn't.
He is acting like this holy being that everything he does is for the betterment of ML. But doesn't take ML's feelings into consideration.
He acts selfish but talks like the bigger person.
That's annoying to watch
I would much rather he just be a coward and say he isn't ready for a gay relationship.
It's the fact that he lied.
Also without the ML's consent.
That's just adding adding drama for the sake of drama. Because just in the last few chapters MC said that he would be more courageous and date ML but then he does a full 180.
That's annoying.
He could've just kept quiet. But he decided to act like a idiot. It's frustrating to read. I literally skipped the whole chapter because it was that bothersome. I know coming out is scary and ain't forcing him to. But stop being such a idiot and hurting ur bf while "protecting" him
