Is there any good female representation?

I just got to chapter 3 and am already annoyed that it's all strong fighting men and one female character who is just there to heal and support the mc... barf. Can anyone tell me if the female representation gets better or if it's more of the same? I'd like to read this manga since it's so highly rated, but I can't stand the male fantasy bs. Thanks in advance!

Well what u didn't consider that, she's actually higher rank than most of them, there is A rank guy there but most of them are C rank and below, she's B rank healer, which is actually much more rare and look for it just depends on role etc. But no worry, if you're looking for attacker girl, there would be more! Although I have to say, there is a lot more guy in here than girl so take it with a grain of salt

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I didn’t let something that petty stopped me from enjoying this great book. I’m typing this with tears in my eyes and this is only my second time there were third time reading this. Just saying you’re missing out. Even without the female representation females are highly respected in this book. And Jean was very much a mama’s boy who loves his family a lot.

I personally don't consider poor female representation to be a petty reason to not read something. Most of the time, it's quite subtle how the portrayal of women as submissive and subservient or only supplemental to men can be detrimental to a person's actual perception of women in their subconscious.

I might give this another try to see if it gets better, but from the first couple chapters alone, I try to determine if a manga is worth my time, and this one did not pull through. If there is no positive female representation, how can females be "highly respected"? Because Jean loves his mom? Who exists as a character to support him? There's nothing wrong with that inherently, of course, but when you add up all the little ways that female characters are often sidelined or only there for the sake of the development of males characters, it gets exhausting to keep reading things that won't do them justice.

There’s plenty of manwhas and animes like this with a lot of strong females. And even though the characters are mostly men there are plenty of females too. You’re nitpicking. I hope you found something better for you to read.
