i feel like they’re using the linear timeline type of type travel where sinclair traveled back in time thus rewriting the timeline. also i would think that he doesn’t get to keep the powers he’s taken before since i think the time travel is more of transporting his soul and memories into the body of his younger self.
When he goes back .. does he retain the abilities or not ? Logically he shouldn’t since he didn t "go back" to the past but "turned back" time of what i assume is restricted to the same universe. Considering the plot and writing style, this suits the story better in my opinion.
BUT it would've being nice if it s mentioned because it s always possible that turning back time just creates an alternative universe from a past starting point... in which case he ll retain his powers.
