depends on the person. you’re probably going to hate the ml at first and even maybe until the end and the fl too because of how weak and stupid she appears in the beginning. however it does get better as the story develops and explores their growth as individuals first and then their relationship second. in the end they become quite complex characters so it’s hard to fully love/hate either of them after learning their whole story. personally i found it to be a good read.

I remember when I first started reading the chapters till the beginning part, the trashiness of the ML discouraged me from reading the plot cuz it could largely develop into Stockholm Syndrome with both MC & ML having PTSD alongside other problems. The rating was also barely 8.8 and now it reached till 9.2. This deserves atleast 9.6 cuz of the amazing closures it gave to each characters. The real impact of a War, destroying civillian lives, how things will never remain the same, some political parts, countless deaths and so much more. If u are ready to cry, pack some tissues cuz this was heavily psychological especially during War arcs and intense interactions with each other. MC gives me Violet Evergarden vibes with those violet flowers, her walking away with a suitcase, the tied-up hair style and those half empty eyes.. Everyone, be it main, side, villain or who are ded, were fleshed out quite great.

It's good but you have to give the characters time to find themselves. The story and the way characters respond to their situations is quite realistic imo but it might not be everyone's cup of tea or it might not align with everyone's logic...
