You explained it perfectly. I think that’s why I enjoy it so much. For little A, it isn’t for some sexual gratification and isn’t getting anything sexual from it, I mean besides being really flustered about it but try to be “professional” about it even if it’s sorta a “unorthodox” way to do it but hey at least he genuinely wants to help these guys and isn’t perceiving them as sexual objects 24/7 as would any other BL ML might do in every yaoi in a situation like this.
It’s like smut but more wholesome, like these beast men aren’t just brain dead horny sex beast for the MC to enjoy. They have feelings and reasons and personalities and depth, there’s actual plot and it makes sense and it’s good. Like Little A is doing what he’s doing to them because it genuinely helps them not just lust and fetish content. I feel like the Uncle and the researcher aren’t evil but just don’t take the beast men’s feelings into account. They have a “Well don’t you want to be human again” which they probably would but right now they need help with who they are, not the possibility of going back to human. Little A understands this and the researcher just doesn’t understand it and neither does the uncle.
