100% agree. Sometimes I think authors think readers will get bored unless there is sex every other chapter so they try to introduce sex very early but for most relationships thats not very natural so they try to speed run it through SA. And then they will try to justify it with "you enjoyed it". IT PISSES ME OFF and its very lazy writing
I'd like to believe people like stories for plot and enjoy the occasional spicy times but considering the popularity of smut heavy stories with basic ass plots/characters, I'm starting to suspect people really just be reading for the porn (and when I say popular, I mean stories I keep seeing show up on other socials, not just here on mgg.)

Have you heard of the wonders of shounen ai? typically yaoi is written by straight women who view gay men as an object of fetishism, so they show only the sexual sides of the relationship because... It's a fetish to them but with shounen ai more often than not it's just a love story but both of them happen to be boys.
i second checking out shounen ai more lol but also i totally agree with u it pmo even more when the story, no lube no protection assaults my eyes with a sex scene and then one of the charas says "how did i get here" and then its a flashback just say u dont know how to start a story and pack it up vro
another thing that pmo is when the "first time" (not rly but i cant think of another term) is one of them assaulting the other. ESPECIALLY when the rapist literally never does ts again and nothing in their personality shows they would ever even be the type to do ts. Also what is up with authors adding "oh wait here's a random non-consensual sex for you" and the reason they do that is because "the seme is upset" you don't fuck and force someone to do it cause you're madd??
