It's not really a stockholm syndrome. Mc just realized that they both are in simmilar situation with no one from their closest ones caring for them, so he prefered to stay with the other guy than with his shitty family who didn't even noticed that he disappeared for over a week. It is a happy ending to be true.
Stockholm syndrome is a complicated thing that is hard to write well, not this simplistic stupidity. even adding masochistic wake up call doesn't cut it, the ending was so badly written. if you wanted a happy (sort of) ending, the twist should've been that all this tine they were a couple doing a kidnapping play and the flashbacks were from long long ago.
Anyway good porn I guess, just don't think much about the plot and you're gold.
