I said the same thing way back. G is so sus (⊙…⊙ ) especially the institution, like how did a dog evolved human features? Now, I'm thinking the mutated humans were targeted individuals from the start. They could be victims of a substance contamination.
I don't know if I understood the wrong way but I think it was mentioned by M (the dairy cow) that they were one of the individuals who got the beast virus so I understood it that they were once normal humans and got the beast turning them into mutated ones.
Yeah, I remember him saying that, but the virus could also be a lie the institution came up with to cover their BS. Based on the flashbacks from M's testimony, the institution is made up of sick MFs. The might be labgrown.
