Damn this is actually freaking good , I think people are still stuck on the fact that the author thoroughly enjoys paring kids and teenagers.. but this feels different somehow. I don’t get the they are in love in a forbidden romance from this. More of a bond between a rejected knight and his lord yk? Like the prince needs to survive in the palace and the magician needed someone to accept everything he is and I love that they found each other. If this didn’t have a bl tag I would absolutely believe it was just your common story honestly. Like the same thing will happen with assassin, and the prince will be collecting devoted followers who found a savior in him.
