Because there is a difference in being happy and wanting revenge. If she really loved Kaelus for who he was she would know he's not the type of person to want revenge. Helio is like a brother to him, so no matter what happened in another life, besides Diana none of them are the person they used to be or have done what they did before. So she's trying to forvlce Kaelus to be something he isn't just like Diana at this point.
There's also Hestia's feeling inferior because of the story, as an outsider, she can't help it. And really the assurance will only come from Kaelus but ue knows revenge is not the answer. 2 mistakes cannot results to a good thing. Tbh i want to see Kaelus as the male lead he is, i need to see put the effort this time to make Hestia happy while diminishing all her worries. But Hess is not just resentful, she’s insecure and afraid because of her past lives and is using revenge as justification to be close to Kaelus. Of course, her husband knows nothing about that so he doesn’t understand where she’s coming from. But Kaelus isn’t wrong to ask Hestia to focus on their marriage instead of someone else’s. Diana isn’t their problem anymore. Instead of wasting their lives being vengeful, Kaelus and Hestia could be growing their own love.
