The ending was disappointing

TL;DR: Story’s premise was interesting, but became so convoluted and was rushed to oblivion.
Score: 5/10

Naruto ahh “power of friendship” ending, who would’ve guessed lmao. Even Lord wasn’t immune from Lucas’ “talk no jutsu”

I have mixed feelings about this manhwa. I started reading this on reaper scans (RIP), and I liked the premise with the demigods and everything..

The story became so convoluted, confusing, jarring and filled with plot holes starting from the middle until the ending tbh. Like for example, the author just killed Lucifer after hyping him up a bit like it was nothing and we didn’t see any interesting thing about him. Also why did Lord still let Iris roam free after all the backstabbing that she’s done? He must’ve known that Iris is the only one who can set Lucas free from the Abyss like wtf was that, did he just turned a blind eye or was he truly unaware? A quick check on the Abyss could’ve confirmed that but somehow, he never did check the magician he’s ‘interested’ in. Also, how did Lord complete his form without absorbing Elliah??? The fact that we see Elliah in the end made me surprised. Didn’t Lord absorb all the demigods and wasn’t all demigods a fragment of Lord. How TF is Elliah still alive?

Sigh. This feels like Volcanic age type of disappointment and the similarities between them (convoluted and rushed plot, sudden bs endgame powerup) is what’s ruined this for me. I haven’t read the side stories yet but I’m not getting my hopes up tbh…
