I've been wondering the same! Like why is the sub plot acting like the main?!
atp i think the author js forgot and the sub plot is the main unfortunately. ive quite literally never seen a “sister took my place” story finish in a satisfying way
she became the heir when she was 20/21, then the sister was adopted and took her place. right now shes 16 im pretty sure, so theres still a while before the sister even enters the story - unless now that shes been rescued, the duke might go looking for a replacement earlier on and speed up her introduction? thats the theory ive got right now. i dont think we're nearing the end of the story yet - there are like a few people have commented quite a few holes and things skipped over, and i love this story, so im hoping its not over the place and its intentional (￣∇￣")
help i totally forgot this was an “nice adopted sister is actually evil and stole my place” story.. is there gonna be a whole other major plot where she has to deal with that or do we js forget about her and end the story in a couple more chapters???
