Ik what you're saying and it's kinda true but he's the crown prince so being that shitty was already a major crime lol. Also because the nobles were also as biased as the king prince paine would never be able to stabilise his power if the previous crown prince was still alive. So he died for the greater good?
the prince sucked for sure and was annoying and a cheater whiney baby bitch but i feel like they went overkill on his punishment/downfall lol like did y'all really have to frame him for murdering his dad and then have rebecca personally kill him? he was so incompetent and stupid that it felt like they framed a child almost lol. like he was way too dumb to ever even attempt to think of any of that on his own and he didn't even really want to be king anyways lol.
idk what else they could have done to him besides maybe exile? but i felt like it was a crazy plot to do to someone who had never even really committed any crimes except cheating on his fiance and being a lazy dumbass. i feel like they've done less to worse villains i guess.
