Haven’t read this yet but have research about it a bit and seen a couple of scenes, just want to say I completely love the horror aspect and how the romance, although not the main focus, amplified the horror. Like dude not only did the protagonists bsf die, but he also also found out theres a monster pretending to be his friend and he’s attracted to it it’s lowk funny in that sense but the whole idea of falling too deep and being too involved in a strange entity that (from what I’ve seen) doesn’t even know what it is is insane. Art looks gorgeous, I’m ready to be unsettled. Also Never understood how some people couldnt recognise the two main characters were romantically involved, it’s what makes the protagonists relation to ‘Hikaru’ so much more thrilling, the feelings of fear of the unknown and attraction to it are contradictory in a way that is very entertaining.
