The first couple wasn’t that bad — Kaede was likeable, and although Ryousuke came off as a jerk at first, internalized homophobia is a real issue. Thankfully, he got better. I didn’t like the second pair, so I would have preferred the story to focus more on Kaede and Ryousuke. Also, the manga is labeled yaoi mostly because of the second couple, since nothing more than a kiss happens between the main two.
