Maybe it’s the fact that we can’t look past how the ML ACTUALLY used him as a stand in. His saying that he didn’t makes no sense. My theory is that the author changed their mind half way through and made up a bs excuse for his behavior
yeah it was clear that he was indeed a stand in like the style wasn't his why did the ML assume it was MCs style, like I couldn't connect the dot for that fact, when author decides that he wasn't a stand-in and just his misunderstanding, like gurl stop the gaslight
